The Award Winning A.G. Dispenser, from Garnett Farms Engineering Ltd is suitable for attachment to a tractor or materials handler.

Models are available to handle shavings, sawdust, chopped straw, paper, sand and lime which are not only suitable for cubicle applications but also loose bedding areas such as poultry houses.

The Operator tilts the machine flat for filling the hopper, and in the vertical position, the hydraulically powered cross-conveyor belt or twin disk plates spreads the material to either side, making bedding a quick, simple and controlled single person operation.


There are a number of economic, time saving and environmental benefits when using a dispenser:

* The purchase and handling of bulk sawdust and shavings, rather than bagged shows an immediate cost saving.

* Evenness of spread reduces the volume of bedding required

* Physical effort of manual spreading is eliminated

* Encourages 'Little and Often' spreading, saving bedding leaving cleaner cubicles and cleaner cows in the milking parlour

* Reduction in overall bedding time

* Pre-chopping straw with a forage harvester, storing and handling in bulk allows more economical use of straw, eliminates baling, handling and the removal of baler twine, saving time and cost in both summer and winter.
