Kverneland Taarup machines mean better feed quality

Kverneland Taarup's philosophy is simple: improved feed quality increases the quality of life for the livestock. A satisfied cow eats more and produces more milk and more meat. Higher feed quality leads to improved production quality and thereby also increases the farmers' earnings.

Improved grass quality and increased capacity and effectiveness are not issues which only concern farmers. As a manufacturer of agricultural implements these are also important for the Kverneland Group. The future of farming is being formed, and through its Kverneland Taarup products the Group will provide solutions which revolutionise the production and processing of grass.

High quality over decades

Market oriented research and innovation has enabled a number of revolutionary products to be launched under the Kverneland Taarup portfolio. The brand was the first to combine the disc mover principle with a conditioning system, an innovation which reduced the farmer's work in the fields and dramatically increased the quality of the silo feed. The round baler also improved feed quality and provided the farmer with increased flexibility during harvesting, storage and feeding. Kverneland Taarup was also the first brand to launch a packer for large bales.

Sophisticated and user friendly products

Today, Kverneland Taarup is considered to be one of the leading suppliers for harvesting, processing and feeding of grass, alfalfa and corn. The common denominator for all Kverneland Taarup machines is extreme efficiency and reliability. The product range within feeding is the most sophisticated and user friendly in the market. Today professional farmers in 65 different markets use Kverneland Taarup machines.

Complete range satisfies any requirement

The Kverneland Taarup range offers machines which cover the entire grass processing operation, from mowing, harvesting, baling and packing to mixing and feeding. Vertical Compact Diet Feeder

Compact models are particularly suited to buildings where space is restricted, due to their reduced dimensions. Easy handling, simple to use, low purchase and running costs yet efficient performance - an ideal solution. These machines feed 30 to 75 cows per hopper filling.

The Compact range comes standard with a front right discharge door, but with an extensive list of discharge options the machine can be tailored to your needs. Also standard - weighing system, straw ring & hydraulic controls direct to tractor.

Heavy duty transmission

Standard with planetary gearbox with helical bevel gear drive, the heavy duty transmission is designed for efficiency and durability, even when operating at full load. The relationship between gearbox and auger is carefully balanced for the optimum mixing result - high mix quality in the shortest possible time. All elements of the transmission - auger connection, planetary gearbox, 2-speed gearbox & drive-line - match the requirements of excellent mix results with minimum down-time.
